Symbols of Las Ventas de San Julián

The flag of Las Ventas de San Julián (photo) is prescribed by an Order issued on 11 February 2002 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 18 February 2002 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 21, p. 3,311 (text).
The flag is described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular, in proportions 2:3, composed of four triangles formed by the diagonals, the upper and loser traignels, red with a white inn [venta] and the lateral, white.

The coat of arms of Las Ventas de San Julián is prescribed by an Order issued on 11 February 2002 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 18 February 2002 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 21, pp. 3,311-3,312 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:

Coat of arms: Quarterly per saltire, 1. and 3. Gules a house (inn) argent, 2. and 3. Argent a calvary gules.

The Royal Academy validated the proposed coat of arms without "any inconvenience". The design was transferred to the proposed flag, with the "inexplicable" suppression of the two calvaries. The coexistence of the two emblems is not acceptable; a new proposal should adopt one of the two designs both for the flag and the arms.
