The municipality of Castrejón de Trabancos (222 inhabitants in 2009; 3,020 ha) is located in the southwest of Valladolid Province, 70 km from Valladolid.

Symbols of Castrejón de Trabancos

The flag and arms of Castrejón de Trabancos are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 25 November 1999 by the Municipal Council, signed on 13 December 1999 by the Mayor, and published on 3 January 2000 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 1, p. 51 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Quadrangular flag, with proportions 1:1, vertically divided red-blue, in the middle a yellow crescent surrounded by two white crescents.
Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Gules three flames or, 2. Azure an eight- pointed star or surrounded in chief and base by two crescents argent. The shield surmounted with a Royal Spanish crown.
