This is the flag of the Pokémon League, as seen in some episodes of the famous cartoon "Pokémon", about a sort of fantastic animals or monsters that are trained to fight in a competition called the Pokémon League. The flag features on a white background a "pokéball", a spherical device where the Pokémons are kept until they are called to fight. I wonder if the similarity with the flag of Japan is a sign of Japanese vexillological humour, since the series is produced in that country.
