The SDIS 36 (Service départemental d'Incendie et de secours) is the service responsible for operations of the civilian fire services in the Indre department.

The new headquarters of the fire service in the department of Indre
(SDIS36) have been inaugurated in 2018.
The flag of the SDIS36 can be seen in front of the headquarters.
It is white with the words "Sapeurs-Pompiers de l’Indre", the drawing of a
firefighter helmet, and the logo of the SDIS36 (a map of Indre with the
departmental coat-for-arms on which the blue field has been modified into
black and with the word “Indre”on the shield, and a red helmet above): photo, photo.
