Description of the flag

Although there is no attested use of this flag yet, based on the notion that the existence of a coat of arms implicitly determines a flag design, and that since some colleges use such a flag, its use by others is not unexpected, I have drawn a putative banner of arms for Clare Hall College.
At http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Clarehall_shield.png, an image of the arms, which I could blazon as chevronny Or and Gules and on a chief sable five teardrops Argent.
These arms accent the history of the college, founded as an offshoot of Clare College in 1966 and becoming an independent college in 1984 (from official site at http://www.clarehall.cam.ac.uk/index.php?id=101); Clare College arms share colors and motifs, being party Or three chevrons Gules and Or a cross Gules and bordure Sable goutty Argent.
At http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clare_Hall%2C_Cambridge, the colors of Clare Hall College are given as black, golden yellow, and red, taken from the arms.

An brief internet search on the official web site of the organisation concerned turns up the following: this image which might well be a banner of arms, but also this: this image (both images from http://www.clarehall.cam.ac.uk) which shows a rowing crew with a flag with a yellow field bearing the Clare Hall arms in the centre. This flag is also shown being hand held by the cox in an eight on the river - presumably some kind of victory celebration and although not explicitly stated, it is clearly being used as some kind of rowing flag, but of course, could also be used for other purposes as well.
