Presentation of the Green Party of Georgia

The Green Party of Georgia, founded in 1991, is member of the European Green Party. The party had three repesentatives in the Parliament in 1995-1999.
In 2008, the party was not allowed by the Central Electoral Commission to compete in the legislative election; accordingly, its candidates ran as individuals through the list of the Christian-Democrat Alliance Coalition.
