Presentation of HIP

HIP was established on 3 January 2002 in Zagreb, as a splinter of HDZ, by Miroslav Tudman, the son of the former leader of HDZ and President of the Republic Franjo Tudman. The party did not get much support in the 2004 elections. In the 2005 local election, HIP the party formed a coallition with HSD.

Flag of HIP

The flag of HIP is prescribed in the party's statutes as white with the party's emblem in the middle above the blue letters "HIP". The emblem consists of two interlaced, rotated voided squares, the top red one and the bottom white bordered blue.
