The flag

The flag of Norðurþing Municipality is white with the logo centred above the name.

The municipality of Nor�ur�ing was formed in 2006 by merging the municipalities of Húsavík, Öxarfjör�ur, Raufarhöfn and Kelduneshreppur.

The new municipality kept the emblem used by the Húsavík municipality, but I have no information if the Húsavík municipality used a flag before.
