The eldest son of Akashi Kagechika, lord of Hogi Castle in Bizen Province. He sided with Toyotomi in the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600 and was defeated. He participated in the Battle of Osaka and was defeated. The war banner has white background with two black crosses. He was a Christian Daimyo, so he had a cross painted on his flag.
