Symbolism

From Hamyang website

The pattern of flag is the emblem of our county, and its theme is clear nature and Seonbi spirit. The blue watermill means the first utilized watermill by Ji Won Park, and it stands for the history and tradition of the village. The green mountain reminding of the shape of Korean traditional hat stands for proud spirit of Seonbi and clear, beautiful view of nature, and the rising sun based on triangle composition expresses the dynamic power of county people who gives effort for the future progress.
