Overview

The flag and the coat of arms of Svencionys (Vilnius county, Svencionys district - Vilniaus apskritis, Svencioniu rajonas). The Previously Reported Flag is drawn by me according to picture from Svencionys tourism area scheme. The coat of arms I drew according to the picture from the book: The Heraldry of Lithuania.

Svencionys (Svencionys District) - Field divided into 8 parts: triple per fess and wavy per pale, fields chequy blue and silver, on blue fields 4 silver vendaces facing the middle line. Flag proportions 10:11, fringe is silver, finial is a silver stylized fish, staff is silver and open, flag is fastened with 5 narrow strips. The charge comes from the arms granted in 1845 and should symbolize the abundant and rich lakes.
