Presentation of DOM

Democratic Reconstruction of Macedonia (DOM) was formed in January 2006 by Ms. Liljana Popovska, formerly a senior official of the SDSM (the formerly governing Social Democratic Union of Macedonia).
In the 5 July 2006 general election (won by the coalition led by the VMRO-DPMNE), the DOM received 1.78% of the votes and was allocated one seat in the parliament.

DOM changed its flag (image, party's website), as they are more involved as a "green party".

The former flag of DOM, as shown on the party website (previous version), is diagonally divided white-red with two thin blue and yellow diagonal stripes on the border between the two white and red fields. The emblem of the party is placed in the upper left corner of the flag. The emblem is made of a red disk with the cyrillic letters "ДОМ" (DOM) in blue, yellow and blue, respectively, underlined by a white horizontal stripe "cutting" the red disk in two unequal parts.
