Guaymas uses a municipal flag which is white with the municipal coat of arms centered upon it. Interestingly, the indoor flag's cravat is a bit unique as it's red with white tassels.

The coat of arms of Guaymas was adopted by Ordinary Session No. 51 on 18 June 1954 in preparation for the French invasion centennial celebrations on the 13th of July; this battle gave the title Heroic City to Guaymas. The author is unknown; all that is known is that the proposal came from Mexico City. Description according to the government website (https://guaymas.gob.mx/escudo.php):
The coat of arms is surrounded by a border in yellow coloring with black letters with the following legend: "Heroica Guaymas de Zaragoza 1769"; observing it from the front, the word "Heroica" is localized in the left margin, in the upper part "Guaymas" is read, in the right margin "De Zaragoza" is read, and in the lower part the year 1769 is localized, year of foundation of the city of Guaymas.
The principal part of the coat of arms is divided into two halves from its horizontal axis. In the upper part, it has the figure of a sailboat in white coloring over a wave in navy blue coloring; the background is colored sky blue.
The lower half is divided by halves in vertical form. In the lower left part, over a background of navy blue and mountains colored sepia, highlighted is the monument in the form of an obelisk remembers the heroes of the battle of 13 July 1854, the monument in white coloring and the letters in black.
The lower right part has a shrimp swimming in descending form, from right to left, in pearl grey and the background navy blue.
