From https://www.mastenenvlaggen.nl/product/dorpsvlag-beltrum:

The flag of the village of Beltrum has been in use in its current form since 2016 and was designed by Mr. Esselink and Mr. Sortelder. It was devised following an impasse between various associations about a suitable design for the flag.

The Beltrum flag is blue and yellow in color and features a large stylized bell. Both the colors and the bell were elements in the old municipal coat of arms of Beltrum (Beltrum formed its own municipality between 1795 and 1819) and are therefore of historical value. The bell is a canting element and refers to the village name. The colors do not have an exact meaning and are so-called kingdom colors. This means that no exact colors were specified by the mayor when the coat of arms was adopted.
