Blazon: På raud grunn tre enkelttinda sølv ruter, 1-1-1. In English: Gules three lozenges grady argent in pale.
Approved by the royal resolution of 30 November 1984 after a drawing by Stein Davidsen after a proposal by Ketil Skjerven. [c2j87]
The three lozenges stand for three parishes in the municipality - Sundre, Leveld and Torpo, as named by the municipal site. The "cross-like" figures are inspired by similar designs on the folk costumes in the region.
