Two similar flags (#1 horizontal, #2 vertical) reading "Fire Mountain Club" possibly in Nablus, Palestine; c. May 2018. "Fire Mountain" ("Jabal al-Nar") is a nickname/metaphor for "Nablus". Nablus is known for its pro-Palestinian political activism. As these flags were prominently carried by teenagers during a pro-communist parade, these flags might pertain to a Nablus-Palestinian communist youth club -- although there are no discernable communist icons in the club's logo. Or it could be just some unaffiliated youth club out for a downtown pro-Palestinian demonstration march on a sunny day while surrounded by communist-party flags. The top Arabic word reads: "al-naadi" (club), middle word reads: "Jabal" ("mountain") and the bottom word: "al-Nar" ("fire"), combined: "Club Mountain Fire" or "Fire Mountain Club".
