The arms are Azure a house Argent open Vert and covered Gules and in chief two olive branches in inverted chevron and on a base wavy Argent two barrulets Azure wavy. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "PEGO - ABRANTES".

Pego Commune is one of the 13 communes of the Abrantes municipality (q.v.); it had 2431 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 36.1 km².
