About the Flag

Coat of arms

Coat of Arms: Shield Argent with base wavy of Vert and Argent, a bunch of six rye ears Vert tied Gules. Mural crown Argent with visible three towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals: "QUINTA GRANDE".
The commune's name means something like "big estate" or "big farm". The rye ears are stressing the rural character, the green base wavy is symbolizing the narrow stripe of the Atlantic, belonging to the commune.
