The arms are Vert, a three-flower lily twig Argent seeded Gules within a garland of laurestine flowers Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "RIBEIRA CHÃ".

Ribeira Chã Commune is one of the five communes of Lagoa (Açores) Municipality; it had 396 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 2.5 km². "Ribeira chã" means "flat creek" but the arms are not canting for this.
