Shield Vert, a sheep statant Argent, in chief a vine bower Argent with five grapevines Or, issuant from base a triplemount Sable, superimposed by a pile Argent, charged with four barrulets wavy Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "VÁRZEA DA OVELHA E ALIVIADA".
Meaning:
The sheep (Port.: ovelha) is a canting element.

Shield Gules semy of vine leaves Or with base wavy of Argent and Azure, issuant from base a throughout bridge Argent, masoned Sable, in chief a labarum Argent with throughout cross Gules, fixed on a cross staff Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "FOLHADA - MARCO DE CANAVESES".
Meaning:
Folhada means "leaved", the shield semy of leaves is thus canting.
