Coat of Arms

Shield Gules with base wavy of Azure and Argent, issuant from base wavy a double mount Or, on chief a Paschal Lamb couchant at dexter and an eagle Or at sinister. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE ERMELO E PARDELHAS".
Meaning:
The base wavy is a representation of th Olo River crossing the commune. The eagle is taken from the arms of former Ermelo Commune, lamb and doublemount from those of former Pardelhas Commune.

Ermelo e Pardelhas is one of the two communes of Mondim de Basto Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 378 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 46,94 km².
