Shield chequered ninefold of Argent and Azure, the central field in chief is charged with a Paschal Lamb passant nimbed Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank)and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "" "SÁ - MONÇÃO".
Meaning:
The Paschal Lamb is an attribute of St. John the Baptist, the local patron saint.
