Shield Argent with base wavy of Azure and Argent, a catle Vert masoned Argent with port and windows Argent, charged by a sword cross Gules, flanked by two lozenges Azure, in chief two gapevines Purpure leaved Vert ordered per fess. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "PIAS - MONÇÃO".
Meaning:
The cross, also called Cross of Santiago, is an attribute of St. James the Elder, the local patron saint.
