About the Flag

It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain red field. (however doubtful, usually this flag should be quartered of white and blue, but I have no evidence, just an image of the arms on red background)

Shield Azure, a human pyramid made of eight persons, men and women, dressed Argent, on a pole Argent, the whole is flanked by two baskets Proper filled with flowers Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "CAMACHA"

Presentation of Camacha

Commune is one of the five communes of the Santa Cruz municipality (q.v.); it had 7449 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 19.6 km².
