This is the flag of the Military and Hospitalier Order of Saint Lazarus - see the only official international website at www.st-lazarus.net with "EVENTS" or "THE ORDER" and click on SYMBOLISM see the various display formats. There are several branches which are not legal using the green cross of our Order, this is the same problem like the countless bogus branches of the Order of Malta.... It seems that the historic Orders in our time have got a new force of attraction.
Our Order's main line of action is hospitality, humanitarian
aid and Christian ecumenical cooperation etc. see also our charitable arm
which is an internationally recognized NGO: LAZARUS-HILFSWERK see

and our foreign international and humanitarian aid operation... round the
world in cooperation with institutions like Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the
European Commission and Christian Churches etc..... The aids is delivered to
needier without regard of religion or nation....
