Description of the flag

The Partidul Naţional Liberal (National Liberal Party) has in its statutes:
Semnul permanent al partidului este săgeata în pătrat sub care se află prescurtarea PNL.
Semnul electoral al partidului este identic cu semnul permanent.
Culorile partidului sunt albastru şi galben. Drapelul partidului este galben, în centru fiind plasat semnul permanent.

Evidently, from the site, the party symbol is a blue diagonal arrow on a yellow field, see http://www.pnl.ro/skins/default/img/logo.gif, the party flag is yellow with the party symbol in the centre.

The larger of the two DA alliance party is the PNL (Partidul Naţional Liberal = National Liberal Party) under the leadership of Prime Minister Tariceanu. It has 64 seats in the 332-seat Chamber of Deputies. The statute (Art. 2) described above specifies the party symbol, colour and flag (my translation): The permanent symbol is: the word DA written in capital letters under which there is the abbreviated name of the two parties PNL-PD. The electoral symbol of the party is identical with the permanent symbol. The colours of the party are blue and yellow. The flag of the party is yellow with the permanent symbol in the center. However, I have found several versions of the party symbol on the web and not one single photograph that clearly shows the flag. So I refrain from drawing it, for the time being. All photographs show the flag in a totally folded state [e.g., http://www.gardianul.ro/pics/size2/politica2006022502.jpg, http://www.evz.ro/files/POZE/IULIE/08/07%20Tariceanu%20Rpres.jpg,

In the meantime I got a flag drawing from PNL headquarters (George Dumitrica) and I made an image accordingly. However, my requests for a photograph in addition to the drawing has not yet been answered. Nevertheless, the combination of description in the statute, bad photographs, and good drawing gives me enough confidence that the image above genuinely depicts the PNL flag.
