Presentation of the Party for Sandžak

The Party for Sandžak (Stranka za Sandžak) was founded in 2001 and operates in the Serbian part of the region. The party leader Azem Hajdarević is the current chairman of the Municipal Assembly of Novi Pazar, where the party forms the ruling coalition together with the Sandžak Democratic Party and the Serbian Democratic Alliance (Srpski demokratski savez), a coalition of Serbian political parties.

Flag of the Party of Sandžak

The party logotype and flag must be dating from the time of its founding, although I first saw them in 2002. The logotype consists of the party name initials SZS, in a very high and narrow form, surrounded with two concentric rings, all yellow on blue background. The flag is blue with a yellow diagonal stripe of unequal width, very narrow at the top hoist end and much wider at the bottom fly end, and the logotype overall in the canton, separated from the stripe with a blue fimbriation which breaks the stripe into two parts and conjoins two parts of the field into one.
