The municipality of Rakovica, part of the city of Belgrade, adopted in July 1998 a coat of arms and flag (banner of arms) designed by the Serbian Heraldry Society.
The coat of arms can be blazoned as:

Azure, the St. Paraskeve chapel argent, a chief gules, in base the Rakovica brook azure fimbriated argent.
