According to the report of geraldika.ru, Choyskiy Rayon adopted a new coat of arms and flag on 19.12.2019. The coat of arms is very similar to the previous one, but the new flag now is banner of arms, completely different from the previous flag. Description of the flag: A rectangular panel with a ratio of width to length 2: 3, reproducing the composition of the coat of arms of the municipality "Choisky district" with the change - without the image of a stone in shine on a green strip, and made in yellow, green, burgundy, blue and white colors. Description of the coat of arms: In a golden field above a green extremity burdened with a golden stone in radiance, emanating from the stone in a semicircle in the form of dissolved rays, and separated by a lowered silver belt completed with wave-like azure above (like connected curved drops, each placed to the right), - three connected bases and bifurcated at the ends of the green cedar branches (two and one) with three purple cones (one and two).

Choyskiy Rayon previous coat of arms and flag were adopted on 28.11.2003. Description of the flag: The flag of the municipality "Choysky District" is conditionally divided into two equal parts. The upper part is white, which symbolizes Holiness and Purity. At the bottom of the flag, a wide broken line symbolizes the blue mountains of the area. Seven peaks represent the seven administrative units of the district. Thin wavy line - rivers and lakes (waters) of the district. The lower part of the flag is framed by the most common ornament of the Tubalar ethnic group living in the region. Description of the coat of arms: The emblem is divided into three parts: - in the upper part, on the golden background (meaning life, eternity, wealth, fame), three cedar cones are depicted in the form of a crown, which symbolizes the wealth of the Choi forests with pine nuts; - in the center of the coat of arms - a white strip with four blue drops, which means the purity of our rivers; - in the lower part of the coat of arms on a green background in the form of a half-sun - gold, which means hope for an excess of gold mined in the Choisk district.

Rural Settlements

The rayon has 7 Rural Settlements: Verkh-P'yankovskoe, Karakokshinskoe, Paspaul'skoe, Seykinskoe, Uymenskoe, Choyskoe, and Ynyrginskoe rural settlement. None of them has adopted symbols, as far as I know.
