On his page about Kurgan flags, Yury Rocich displays the image of the flag of Kurgan city. The source is Dmitry Ivanov, author of the flag of the city of Shadrinsk (also in Kurgan oblast) but I don’t know if he is also the author of the flag of Kurgan city. Two variants are also available on this page but the official flag is the first one (without the red stripe).
