Presentation of Olive Tree

Olive Tree (Oljka) or more fully Olive Tree - The Party of Slovene Istria (Oljka - stranka slovenske Istre) is a minor moderate regionalist party operating in the Slovenian Littoral. The party's website explains its choice of name as follows:

Assembled at the olive tree, a symbol of peace and wisdom, we wish to enact the founding values of our area and follow the moral of Joatam's fable of the olive tree, which rebuffed other trees when they wanted to honor it as the queen of all trees: 'Should I forsake my oil, for which I am praised, only to set myself above trees?'

The party uses - infrequently - vertical flags, olive green at their vertical edges with a gradient towards a white center, and with the party's emblem about two thirds of the way up.
There are table flags too, similar but simpler, just the emblem on white, near the bottom.

Emblem of Olive Tree

The party's emblem is an olive with a drop of olive oil superimposed over it, surrounded by several oval squiggles, each element its own shade of green; the lower part of the flag is decorated with randomly intersecting arcing lines. It is defined in the party's statutes (while the flag is not), as follows:

Article 2.
The Olive Tree has an emblem and a seal. The emblem and seal are identical, namely: The Olive Tree emblem consists of two elements: graphic and textual. The textual element is the inscription "OLJKA", consisting of modified letters, based on the font Lithos PRO. The graphic element is represented by the symbol of the fruit of the olive tree, surrounded to the left and the right by two ovals: reclining or horizontal, as a lateral support, and diagonal, forming an outline of a heart, and (by intersecting within the olive-fruit symbol) a drop.
The sign is duotone. The colors used are Pantone 3975 dark green and Pantone 378C. light green. 100% dark green color is used in the inscription, namely for the letters "O", "L", "K" and "A" and for the contour of the symbolic olive fruit. The letter "J" in the inscription "Oljka" is intended to be 75% raster, as is the fill of the olive fruit symbol. The inclined or transverse ovals forming a heart are 50% dark green raster. 100% light green is used for the drop symbol within the stylized olive and for the horizontal ellipses.
