Flag of Starše

The flag and arms of Starše are prescribed by Decision Odlok o spremembi Odloka o grbu in zastavi občine Starše, adopted on 19 December 2005 and published on 30 December 2005 in the official local gazette Medobčinski uradni vestnik stajerske in Koroske regije, No. 31.
This Decision amends the 1996 Decision and changes the proportions of the former flag from 2:5 to 1:2. Other changes concern penal provisions and other items of lesser importance.

The symbols were designed by Valt Jurečič of Heraldika d.o.o. and Heraldica Slovenica, who kindly provided drawings from which the images shown on this page were made.

The flag is rectangular, in proportions 1:2, vertically divided green-yellow (45:55), the green field containing the attribute from the coat of arms, five wheat stalks bound with a ribbon.

The former flag and (still valid) arms of Starše were prescribed by Decision Odlok o grbu in zastavi občine Starše, adopted on 22 November 1996 and published in Medobčinski uradni vestnik stajerske in Koroske regije, No. 28.

The symbols were designed by Valt Jurečič of Heraldika d.o.o. and Heraldica Slovenica, who kindly provided drawings from which the images shown on this page were made.

The flag is rectangular, in proportions 2:5, vertically divided green-yellow, the green field containing the attribute from the coat of arms, five wheat stalks bound with a ribbon.
The Decision prescribes the proportions of the green and yellow fields as 45:55, but the drawings provided by the designer of the flag and showed by Stanič & Jakopič [j2s05] have equally wide fields.

The symbols were inaugurated during the celebration of the Municipality Day.
