Description of the Flag

According to the Thai Ministry of Interior in 2000, the flag of Ubon Ratchathani is horizontally divided pink over very dark green (and not black), with a pink lotus flower in the upper pink stripe, and in big white letters the name of the province in the lower dark green stripe. The flag can be seen on the provincial website : http://www.ubonratchathani.go.th/symbol_ubon.html

Provincial Seal

[Seal (Ubon Ratchathani Province, Thailand)] image by Olivier Touzeau

The [current flag] is rather atypical [as compared to other provincial flags — it has no seal]. I found a black and white image of the provincial seal (no flags) in the Ubon Ratchathani website.
