Introduction

Taiwan Farmers' Party (Chinese, Han script: 台灣農民黨 Chinese, Pinyin: Taiwan nongmindang; Chinese, Wade-Giles: T'ai-wan nung-min-tang) is an agrarian political party which was founded in 2007 [1, 2].

Flag

Its flag, which was presented shortly after the founding [2, 3, 4, 5], is white with the logo in top center, party name inscribed in black in two rows, in large Chinese characters beneath the logo and in English, as small as to make both rows of text equally long, beneath all the above charges, and three wavy lines in the bottom, occupying the whole length of the flag. The logo consists of the map of Taiwan island in dark green in front of a brown hilltop, both surrounded with two curved shapes ending in shaking hands, the left-hand one in blue (lighter than B, but darker than B-) and the right-hand one in medium green. All parts f the logo are fimbriated white. The wavy lines are, in top-down order, dark green, blue and medium green. The ratio is 2:3 [5]. The colors are defined as follows [5]:

Dark green - C 80, M 30, Y 60, K 0
Brown - C 30, M 60, Y 100, K 0
Blue - C 80, M 20, Y 0, K 0
Medium green - C 50, M 0, Y 100, K 0

There is an alternate version of the party logo [5], with the island map, hilltop and shaking hands in center of a white disc within a wide dark green border (same shade as the island map), which is charged with the party name, inscribed in Chinese at the top and in English at the bottom; the whole is surrounded with a narrow white outer border and a dark green fimbriation. This logo is also supposed to appear on the alternate design of party flag, accompanied by wavy lines only [5]. The use of this flag has not been attested with the photos so far, although the use of such logo was [2, 3, 4].
The logo without the inscribed border is also supposed to appear on vertical flag, ratio 5:2, on the top white section which is separated by a concave arc from the dark green field, charged with the party name inscribed in white, the Chinese characters arranged vertically and the English text rotated 90 degrees clockwise [5]. The use of such flag has also not been attested with the photos so far.
