Description of the flag

This is the flag of Five Guys, a chain or hamburger fast food restaurants started in 1986 in northern Virginia, but now found pretty much all over the US. A Five Guys restaurant along Highway 12 outside Kitty Hawk was flying a red and white company flag when we drove past. The flag is essentially the company's logo in flag form. The name "FIVE GUYS" appears centered on a red field in bold, white, capital, sans serif letters, immediately above the smaller white words "BURGERS and FRIES." The top and bottom edges of the flag take the form of three rows each of red and white checker patterns.
