Introduction

The Traditionalist Worker Party (TWP) is a white nationalist group that advocates for racially pure nations and communities and blames Jews for many of the world's problems. Even as it claims to oppose racism, saying every race deserves its own lands and culture, the group is intimately allied with neo-Nazi and other hard line racist organizations that espouse unvarnished white supremacist views.

In 2013, Matthew Heimbach, leader of the White Student Union at Towson University in Maryland, joined with Matthew Parrott to found a white nationalist group they dubbed the Traditionalist Youth Network (TYN). Two years later in 2015, they created the Traditionalist Worker Party (TWP) as the political wing of the TYN.
In July 2016, the neo-Nazi National Socialist Movement (NSM) announced that the TWP had joined its Aryan Nationalist Alliance (ANA), a coalition of white nationalist organizations.

The flag of the TWP consist of a white cog-wheel with an attached slanted four-pronged pitchfork placed on a black field. The emblem has a double fimbriation in yellow and black; the inner fimbriations are very thin, while the outer black one is somewhat wider and the outermost yellow one is so wide that it is not really a fimbriation, but a border. The emblem size seems to vary somewhat, and the same might also be true for the ratio. Some of the photos with the best view of the flag can be found here:

Solid yellow/gold or white emblem is also often used, but never on the flags - these variants decorate the items such as the shirts, shields carried at the rallies, and the Web graphics. For such uses, it may also be depicted with reversed colors (black on white or yellow/gold field).

A lengthy explanation of the symbol is presented here: https://www.tradworker.org/2015/08/tradworker-logo/
To summarize, the cog-wheel and pitchfork stand for (white) industrial workers and (white) farmers, respectively. In addition, the cog-wheel, meant to be the moving component of a larger device, also symbolizes the individuals as the components of a nation, as well as the "marching forward" of the logo users in "a revolution that will never end". The pitchfork also has expanded meaning, symbolizing the "connection to the soil" (including the references to "blood and soil" ideas), as well as the revolting against dictatorship, reminiscent of the peasant revolts (which, actually, were a feature of European history and never took place in that form in America).

The neo-Nazi man accused of killing a woman at the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville when he ran his car through a crowd of counter-protesters was a member a sub-branch of Vanguard America named Vanguard America-Texas. VA-T pasted hate fliers on signs, doors and gates at two Houston-area synagogues in July of 2017 and distributed flyers with similar messages at universities in Houston and other parts of Texas in January.
The Vanguard America-Texas flag incorporates the Schwarze Sonne (Black Sun) with star of Texas in middle. The Black Sun is used by a large number of far-right groups who believe in neo-Nazi and/or neo-Volkisch ideologies.
