Description of the flag

The flag of the City of Burlington, Washington, consists of city logo on a white background. The design was adopted by city council in about 2001 or 2002. The design represents the mountains to the east of the city as well as the Skagit River which runs from those mountains through the city. Logo includes words "City of / Burlington / SKAGIT COUNTY, WASHINGTON / INCORPORATED 1902". Image and information thanks to Judy Sheahan from the City Administration.
