Lloyd's Register of American Yachts, 1906, pictures the burgee of the Bar Harbor Yacht Club. It's a ca. 2:3 tribar red before very dark blue, 1:1:2, with in the blue a white five-pointed star.

Lloyd's Register of American Yachts, 1929, pictures the burgee of the Bar Harbor Yacht Club. It's ca. 2:3 black triangle with a white saltire.

This is the same burgee the club currently pictures on its website at www.barharboryachtclub.com.

Some details of the club's history (I'm not sure how all this can be fit into one history):
- 1885, Bar Harbor Yacht Club formed (www.barharboryachtclub.com/club.htm)
- 1906, Star burgee pictured in Lloyd's, though the club isn't listed. (Neither in 1905, nor in 1912)
- 1929, Saltire burgee pictured (Not in 1917)
- 1947, Bar Harbor Yacht Club, Inc. established (Lloyd's 1963)
- 1963, Pictured and listed in Lloyd's Register of American Yachts (may be in all editions 1929-1963.)
