Description of the flag

Harlem Yacht Club. Est: 1883. Location: City Island, NY.
Burgee: Pennant circa 4.5:7. Blue field superimposed by two horizontal white lines, 0.5 units wide, from hoist to fly and centred 1.5 units from top and bottom of hoist A vertical white line from top to bottom of fly 1 unit from hoist and 0.5 units wide.

Officers' Distinguishing Flags circa 1890's
Commodore: Broad Pennant circa 5:7 (5:5 to crutch). Blue field superimposed by a bend wise white fouled anchor surrounded by 13 white stars.

Vice Commodore: Same design as Commodore except with red field.

Rear Commodore: Same design as Commodore except with white field and blue anchor and stars.

Fleet Captain: Same shape as Commodore with blue field.
