The municipality of Los Telares and institutions in the area, on the occasion of
the celebrations for the 83rd anniversary of its founding, presented to the
community the official flag of the city of Los Telares and announced the
nomenclature program with the imposition of new names for the streets and
avenues of the city.
In an emotional ceremony held in the main square, the
authorities presented to the residents the Official Flag of the city of Los
Telares, which was obtained through a contest. The flag brings together in its
cloth the colors of the country, the province and the traditional light blue and
white of the Atlético club and green of the Defensores club (main clubs in the
community); it also has a rising sun, the paths of progress and the threads of
the loom, the symbol of the work of its people.
The brand new flag,
presented on Friday as part of the anniversary celebrations, was designed by
Luciana Torres, who added elements from two other flags; the idea of the rising
sun with the quarries belongs to CAJ 52, while the tracks belong to 5th grade
“A” students.
