Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per pale. The dexter field is silver (=white) divided by a black cross. The sinister side is divided five times per fess into golden (= yellow) and black.
Meaning:
According to source the cross is the cross of the archbishopric and electorate of Köln. The sinister side of the arms show the arms of the Millendonk-Mirlaer kin, who were an important family in Korschenbroich.

Flag and banner were approved by Regierungspräsident Düsseldorf on 9 November 1979, the coat of arms on 22 July 1977.
Description of current flag:
The flag's ratio is 3:5. It is a yellow flag with red horizontal stripes at the top- and bottom edge. In its centre is a chess board of 25 red and golden (=yellow) squares, four of them are superimposed by a silver (= white) square showing a bishop's head with a blue mitre.
