The municipality of Revilla Vallejera (87 inhabitants in 2009; 2,746 ha) is located on the border with the Province of Palencia, 45 km of Burgos. The municipality is made of the villages of Revilla (capital) and Vizmalo (26 inh.).

The flag and arms of Revilla Vallejera are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 20 December 2001 by the Municipal Council, signed on 8 January 2002 by the Mayor, and published on 6 March 2002 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 46, p. 3,090 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:
Flag: Castilian, quadrangular flag, green with three horizontal stripes of 1:10 [the flag's hoist]. The first stripe red, the second stripe white, the third stripe blue, in the middle is placed the municipal coat of arms of Revilla Vallejera
Coat of arms: Quarterly per saltire, 1. Argent a saltire gules, 2. Argent a naked arm proper issuant from sinister charged with a Virgin azure nimbed or, 3. Argent an heraldic oak vert, 4. Azure three fesses wavy argent. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
The Decree was originally published on 21 January 2002 in the official gazette of Castile and Leon, No. 14, p. 1,295 (text), with the erroneous spelling "Revilla de Vallejera".
