ha)) is located 100 km from Palencia
Báscones de Ojeda was probably named for Basque colonists who
resettled the place in the 9th century. The village was ruled by the
San Andrés de Arroyo monastery and the Dukes of Frías.

The symbols of Báscones de Ojeda were unveiled on 24 August 2009 during the St. Bartolomew festival (El Norte de Castilla, 25 August 2009).

The flag (image) is horizontally divided blue-red-green-crimson red with a yellow triangle placed along the hoist and charged with the municipal coat of arms.
