Symbols of Mantinos

The flag and arms of Mantinos are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 13 March 2003 by the Municipal Council, signed the same day by the Mayor, and published on 3 April 2003 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 64, p. 5,005 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Quadrangular flag with proportions 1:1, purpure a St. Andrew's cross or.
Coat of arms: Shield of Spanish shape. Per pale, 1. Argent a two-pointed mound proper, 2. Vert, a St. Andrew's cross or. The shield surmounted with a Royal Spanish crown.

The symbols must have been designed by Pedro Pablo Abad and María Angeles Helguera Castro, authors of Mantinos, fundamentos históricos para un propuesta de escudo y bandera, published by the municipal administration in 2005. St. Andrew is the patron saint of the village.
