Presentation of Revenga de Campos

The municipality of Revenga de Campos (156 inhabitants in 2009; 2,241 ha) is located 40 km from Palencia.
Revenga probably means "a wet place" rather than "a place of resettlement". Documents from the Cardeñas monastery dated 935/939 mention a place named Revendica. Revenga is located on the "French branch" of the Way of St. James.
