The city emblem was adopted on Mar 20th 2006 by Notice No 1 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green and a blue two color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized AS of ASakura. The green color stands for the hill & dale and the blue color for the river. Two curved lines represent the citizen’s reconciliation and the collaboration and the triangle does the citizen’s development.
