Oyster Bay has a seal on a plain field (dark background) town flag, for which I can only find a black & white photo. See http://members.aol.com/bsa57/TOB.HTM

An image of the flag of the Town of Oyster Bay (Nassau County, New York) can be seen at www.gurney.co.uk/norfolk/media2/scan0045.jpg. The flag is green with the Town Seal in gold and white with black lettering. The page showing the context of the image <www.gurney.co.uk/norfolk/gatherings/1996.htm> is now defunct.
A copy of the town seal can be seen at www.expeditinglongisland.com/Images/town-of-oyster-bay-seal.jpg.

Judging from the photo found by Ned, which shows the flag held hung by three people, the background is dark green, and the seal takes up half the height of the flag (2 of 4 folding creases).
The seal shows a seagull in flight, white with its wingtips black, the year 1653 in bold "old style" serif black figures between its wings. (I must say that a 17th century date looks impressively old for a North American location!) The seal rim reads "Town of Oyster Bay" from 8 to 5 o'clock and, separated by middle dots, "New York" in the
remaining arc, all set in serif black capitals. On the flag, the seal is shown in golden yellow, with thick black lining, and the gull is filled in white.
