The Flag

The arrangament quoted in the appendix of the Constitution seems some times not to be an warranty for knowing the correct flag. According the appendix of the constitution the bottom stripe must be black.
Jaume Ollé, 15 May and 19 December 2000

While checking angelfire - choco site, I found out that the replaced the image (see Reported WRONG Flags) and the bottom stripe is now a blue one. Also, they use darker green for the upper stripe.
Dov Gutterman, 9 August 2003

Above we have discussion concern the bottom stripe of the flag (maroon, gray or blue).
Dov Gutterman, 6 November 2004

As reported by Jairo Alonso Méndez Méndez, the flag of Chocó, shown during the XVII Juegos Deportivos Nacionales (17th National Sport Games), recently held out in Bogotá, was the 2:1:1 V-Y-B tricolor.

1) Flag of CHOCO
by Blas Delgado Ortiz, 28 May 2000

According to image at <www.bundenet.com> , the bottom stripe of this department flag look like maroon.
Dov Gutterman, 14 May 2000

2)
from <www.angelfire.com>

There are contadicting sources concering the bottom stripe of this flag. Here is what is said at this angelfire - choco site:
"La bandera del Departamento del Chocó se compone de los colores: VERDE (2/4), AMARILLO (1/4), GRIS (1/4)" . "Gris" is grey but the image shows the bottom stripe as silver.

Coat of Arms

from <www.angelfire.com>

Governor's Sash

The Governor's Sash of the Department of Chocó is seen here. It is the same flag with the coat of arms in the middle. However, it seems that there's a mistake in the Sash, since the stripes all have the same width, whereas in the real flag, the top is 50% and the other two at the bottom are 25% each.
