Ebersberg Coat of Arms

Shield Or, ascending on a triplemount Vert on the dexter shield border a boar Sable.
Meaning:
The arms are derived from those of the former monastery. The colours of the arms are not always represented correctly, so there are versions with an Argent field; the green-white (or white-green) flags are probably derived from this variant. The vertical variant of the flag is used for general flagging, whereas the horizontal version is hoisted on sloped flag staffs at the town-hall.

The date of adoption of the flag is unknown. The arms are in use since 1830 without approval.
