On 1 January 2017 the communes of Cheyres and Châbles merged to the new commune of Cheyres-Châbles.
Gules, a Tower embattled Argent masoned and windowed Sable between two Mullets of the same pierced,
and in base coupeaux Vert.

The star-shaped devices on the emblem are spur wheels. They are adopted from the emblem of the former Lords of Font and Molière. It appears also in the emblems of the Fribourg communes of e.g. Châtillon, Estavayer, Font, Lully, Ménières or Murist.
Gules, a Fess bendy Sable and Argent.
